North korea: North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has conveyed his intention to strengthen relations with Serbia through a congratulatory letter addressed to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. The letter was sent on the occasion of Serbia's Statehood Day, which marks the anniversary of the first Serbian uprising in 1804 against Ottoman rule.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the North Korean foreign ministry's website disclosed the contents of the letter, where Kim Jong-un expressed his desire for the advancement of bilateral relations in a manner that benefits the peoples of both nations. The letter also included Kim's congratulations to the president and the Serbian populace.
