Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index presented a mixed performance, with notable fluctuations in closing prices across various companies. NAVER experienced a decline, closing at 220,000, which marked a decrease of 5,000. In contrast, Hyundai Engineering and Construction saw a rise, closing at 33,750, an increase of 1,450.

According to Yonhap News Agency, LIG Nex1 faced a decrease, closing at 288,000, down by 2,000. Meanwhile, Fila Holdings also saw a reduction, ending at 38,050, a drop of 350. HYUNDAIGLOVIS and HANAFINANCIALGR both experienced decreases in their closing prices, with HYUNDAIGLOVIS dropping by 1,800 to 128,800, and HANAFINANCIALGR decreasing by 300 to 60,600.

Conversely, Hanwha Life, Amorepacific, and Foosung all reported increases in their closing prices. Hanwha Life rose by 190 to close at 2,700, Amorepacific increased by 400 to 116,700, while Foosung climbed by 145 to 5,040. SK Innovation experienced a significant rise, closing at 124,300, up 2,400.

CJ CheilJedang and POSCO INTERNATIONAL also experienced upward movements, closing at 246,000 and 42,350, respectively, with increases of 1,500 and 1,700. SamyangFood faced a notable decrease of 20,000, ending at 803,000. Meanwhile, POONGSAN saw a slight increase, closing at 56,000, up by 100.

KBFinancialGroup experienced a decline, closing at 79,400, down by 2,600, while Hansae closed at 12,930, a decrease of 30. Hanwha saw a substantial rise, closing at 42,150, an increase of 4,450. L and F and Hanwha Vision both reported significant gains, with L and F rising by 3,700 to 82,700 and Hanwha Vision increasing by 12,550 to 54,400.

Other notable movements included GS rising by 650 to 39,900, SeAH Steel Holdings increasing by 7,000 to 213,000, and Daewoong experiencing a slight decline, closing at 20,700, down by 100. KAL and LOTTE CHEMICAL Corp both saw increases, with KAL up by 50 to 23,600 and LOTTE CHEMICAL Corp up by 5,800 to 59,200.

KakaoBank faced a decrease, closing at 23,450, down by 200, while KG Mobility increased by 130 to 3,700. KCC and SKBP both reported gains, closing at 272,500 and 125,400, respectively, with increases of 5,000 and 1,000. TCC STEEL and LotteChilsung also saw positive movements, closing at 25,050 and 103,600, respectively.

AmoreG experienced a slight decline, closing at 21,550, down by 100. HyundaiMtr reported a significant increase, closing at 208,500, up by 10,400. MiwonComcl and CHONGKUNDANG both experienced upward movements, closing at 177,400 and 81,500, respectively.

Youngone Corp and GKL faced declines in their closing prices, with Youngone Corp down by 300 to 45,700 and GKL down by 280 to 11,310. In contrast, KOLON IND rose by 1,050 to 29,050. DoubleUGames remained unchanged at 49,150, while SD Biosensor experienced a slight increase, closing at 10,450, up by 100.
