KORIBOR Rates Remain Stable Across Most Terms

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) showed minimal fluctuations in the latest session, with most of the terms holding steady. The rates, as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news arm of Yonhap News Agency, were posted at 11:00 a.m.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week KORIBOR rate remained constant at 2.50%, showing no change from the previous session. Similarly, the 2-month and 3-month rates also stayed unchanged at 2.68% and 2.78%, respectively.

The 1-month and 6-month rates showed a slight decrease, with the 1-month rate moving from 2.60% to 2.59% and the 6-month rate dropping from 2.86% to 2.85%. Lastly, the 12-month rate saw a marginal decline from 3.10% to 3.09%.

These rates are crucial as they serve as a benchmark for lending rates between South Korean banks and can influence broader financial markets and economic conditions.
