Seoul: LG Uplus Corp., a prominent mobile carrier in South Korea, announced on Thursday a significant rise in its 2025 net income, reaching 509.2 billion won (US$349.8 million). This marks a 61.9 percent increase compared to the previous year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for the year amounted to 892.1 billion won, up from 863.1 billion won in the prior year. Additionally, the annual revenue saw a 5.7 percent increase, totaling 15.45 trillion won.
