Seoul: President Lee Jae Myung has appointed a new vice health minister, the head of the customs office, and four other senior government officials, a presidential official announced Friday. The appointments were made public during a press briefing held by the Cheong Wa Dae official.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hyun Soo-yeob, who is currently serving as a spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Welfare, has been appointed as the first vice health minister. This move is part of a broader reshuffle aimed at strengthening the leadership within key government sectors.
Additionally, Lee Jong-wook, who holds a senior position at the Korea Customs Service, has been appointed as the new chief of the agency. These appointments are expected to bring fresh perspectives and leadership to their respective areas, aligning with the president's vision for effective governance.
