(LEAD) Diminutive infielder comes up big to win Korean Series MVP award for Tigers

At 165 centimeters, Kim Sun-bin was one of the smallest players in this year’s Korean Series.

But the second baseman came up huge at the plate throughout the series against the Samsung Lions. He batted 10-for-17 with three doubles and a triple, and recording at least a hit all five games, as the Tigers captured the title with a 7-5 win in Game 5 on Monday night at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field in Gwangju, 270 kilometers south of Seoul
