Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed significant upward movement as multiple companies reported notable gains in their stock prices. Among the top performers, SK hynix made a remarkable advance, closing at 183,200, an increase of 18,200.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies also experienced gains, with HANWHA AEROSPACE closing at 740,000, up by 49,000. DOOSAN saw a rise to 281,500, an increase of 33,000. SKSQUARE also reported an increase, closing at 85,700, up by 10,500.

Additionally, LG Innotek marked a significant gain, closing at 134,800, up by 12,800. Hanchem saw its stock price increase to 104,700, a rise of 9,600, while SeAH Steel Holdings closed at 228,500, up by 9,500. Mobis also reported gains, ending at 243,500, an increase of 8,500.

KumhoPetrochem's stock climbed to 111,200, up by 6,800. HANMISemi closed at 65,800, marking an increase of 6,300. SK's stock rose to 121,000, up by 5,600, and SAMSUNG C and T recorded a rise to 113,800, an increase of 5,500.

KIA CORP. also saw an increase, closing at 88,200, up by 4,400. Korea Aerospace's stock advanced to 75,600, an increase of 4,100. SAMSUNG SDS closed at 113,200, up by 3,600, while DWS ended at 32,750, marking a rise of 3,350.

HANAFINANCIALGR saw its stock climb to 55,300, up by 3,100. HyundaiElev ended at 57,400, an increase of 2,400, and Youngone Corp closed at 45,600, up by 2,500. S-1 reported an increase, closing at 62,000, up by 2,500, while POSCO DX closed at 25,900, marking a rise of 1,950.

DL's stock increased to 30,050, up by 1,900. SamsungSecu closed at 43,700, an increase of 1,650, and SamsungE and A reported a rise to 19,290, up by 1,050. HMM's stock advanced to 19,110, up by 1,420, and kakaopay saw an increase, closing at 27,950, up by 1,250.

The market also saw gains for IBK, closing at 14,220, up by 620, and HITEJINRO, which increased to 19,390, up by 650. LOTTE SHOPPING's stock rose to 62,900, marking an increase of 900, alongside Hyundai WIA, which closed at 40,600, up by 900. DONGSUH reported a rise to 23,950, marking an increase of 900.

CJ LOGISTICS saw an increase, closing at 82,200, up by 900. Samsung CARD's stock rose to 38,900, up by 400, and COWAY closed at 70,500, marking an increase of 500. HANKOOK and COMPANY's stock advanced to 14,070, up by 470, while KEPCO saw a rise to 22,950, an increase of 450.

Finally, PanOcean closed at 3,270, marking an increase of 195, while KumhoTire ended at 4,350, up by 245. Hanon Systems saw its stock rise to 3,330, an increase of 170.
