KOSPI 200 Stocks See Mixed Movements in Thursday Trading

Seoul: Thursday's trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange witnessed varied movements in the KOSPI 200 stocks, with several companies experiencing significant gains and losses. The closing prices reflected diverse performance across different sectors.

According to Yonhap News Agency, LG CNS saw a substantial increase, closing at 78,300 KRW, up by 2,100 KRW. Similarly, Woori Financial Group experienced a rise, ending the day at 30,200 KRW, marking an increase of 850 KRW. On the other hand, Hanchem faced a downturn, with its shares closing at 275,000 KRW, a decrease of 29,000 KRW. d'Alba Global also recorded a decline, finishing at 227,000 KRW, down by 14,500 KRW.

Among other notable performers, Daewoong's stock price rose to 17,690 KRW, up by 310 KRW, while Hanwha Ocean saw an uptick, closing at 104,500 KRW with an increase of 1,200 KRW. GS Retail ended the session at 25,050 KRW, up by 1,450 KRW. Conversely, HANMISemi registered a decrease, closing at 219,500 KRW, down by 27,000 KRW.

Additionally, AMOREPACIFIC Holdings saw its shares rise to 24,150 KRW, with an increase of 1,100 KRW. Hyundai Motor experienced a downturn, closing at 482,000 KRW, a decrease of 5,500 KRW. Notably, Kia Corporation's shares surged, ending the day at 145,200 KRW, up by 3,700 KRW, and Hanmi Pharm also reported a significant gain, closing at 436,000 KRW, an increase of 14,000 KRW.

Overall, the KOSPI 200 stocks exhibited a mix of upward and downward trends during Thursday's trading session, reflecting the dynamic nature of the market.
