Seoul:Friday's trading on the Korea Stock Exchange saw varied performances among KOSPI 200 stocks, with significant price movements in several companies.
According to Yonhap News Agency, among the stocks, LG Corp. rose by KRW 1,300 to close at KRW 111,100, while POSCO FUTURE M increased by KRW 4,200, ending at KRW 186,900. Notably, SK hynix saw a substantial rise of KRW 8,000, closing at KRW 1,841,000.
Other companies experiencing gains included Hanwha, which climbed KRW 4,700 to KRW 128,900, and POSCO Holdings, up KRW 4,500 to KRW 311,000. Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. also saw a significant increase, rising by KRW 12,000 to reach KRW 529,000.
Conversely, several stocks faced declines. Doosan fell by KRW 43,000 to KRW 1,341,000, Hyundai Engineering and Construction decreased by KRW 2,800 to KRW 114,400, and Hyundai Motor dropped by KRW 2,500, closing at KRW 346,500.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Samsung Electronics and HITEJINRO remained unchanged at KRW 276,000 and KRW 14,770, respectively.
