Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index saw varied performances among its listed companies, with several stocks experiencing significant price changes.
According to Yonhap News Agency, emart's share price rose by 1,000 to close at 71,900, while HANJINKAL saw a decline of 1,500, ending at 132,300. DoubleUGames increased by 300 to reach 58,500, whereas ORION dropped by 800 to 105,300. HD HYUNDAI recorded a notable increase, closing up 3,500 at 201,000, and HD HYUNDAI ELECTRIC also saw a rise of 5,000, finishing at 678,000.
Other notable movements included CHONGKUNDANG remaining unchanged at 65,200, while HD CE decreased by 1,700 to 117,900. SD Biosensor experienced a slight increase of 30, closing at 6,340. MIWON SC's price advanced by 800 to 127,600, and Meritz Financial gained 1,600, closing at 128,800. BNK Financial Group and iM Financial Group also saw their prices increase, closing at 15,940 and 18,640, respectively.
Among the decliners, SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS fell significantly by 64,000, closing at 1,354,000. KRAFTON decreased by 600, ending at 199,100, and HYOSUNG TNC dropped by 1,000 to 273,500. KakaoBank and HYBE also saw declines, finishing at 19,700 and 155,300, respectively.
Several companies saw gains, including HanmiPharm, which rose by 8,500 to 506,000, and HANWHA SYSTEMS, which increased by 4,000 to 82,900. HyundaiAutoever's stock climbed by 2,500, reaching 382,500, and SKSQUARE gained 5,000, closing at 1,160,000.
Overall, the KOSPI 200 index reflected a mix of gains and losses, demonstrating the varied performance of listed companies.
