Seoul: The KOSPI 200 stocks experienced a decline in their closing prices on Monday at the Korea Stock Exchange. Notable companies, including MiwonComcl, SK hynix, and HyundaiMtr, recorded significant drops, contributing to the downward trend observed across the board.
According to Yonhap News Agency, MiwonComcl's stock closed at KRW 173,700, down by KRW 4,800. SK hynix saw a decrease of KRW 17,400, bringing its closing price to KRW 164,800. HyundaiMtr reported a closing price of KRW 179,100, marking a decrease of KRW 12,700. The technology and automotive sectors faced notable declines.
Other companies also experienced declines. SKSQUARE's stock fell by KRW 9,900, closing at KRW 77,400. SamsungF and MIns saw a drop of KRW 9,000, ending at KRW 344,500. CJ's stock decreased by KRW 9,400, concluding at KRW 121,700. SeAH Steel Holdings recorded a significant decrease of KRW 18,500, closing at KRW 207,000.
The trading session reflected a general decrease across various sectors. Hanwha's stock reduced by KRW 3,100, closing at KRW 39,400, while KCC saw a decrease of KRW 17,500, closing at KRW 239,000. DOOSAN experienced the largest drop among the listed companies, with a decrease of KRW 26,000, ending at KRW 239,500.
