KOSPI 200 Stocks Experience Significant Decline

Seoul: The KOSPI 200, a major index of South Korean stocks, witnessed a notable downturn in its closing prices. Several leading companies recorded declines, reflecting a broad-based retreat in the market.

According to Yonhap News Agency, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries closed at 476,500, down by 14,000, while GS Retail saw a decrease of 610, settling at 15,700. OTOKI's shares fell by 7,000 to reach 391,500. DN Automotive experienced a reduction of 900, closing at 28,100, and YoulchonChem dropped by 950, ending at 33,300.

HYOSUNG HEAVY reported a decrease of 57,000, closing at 1,169,000. LG Energy Solution's price fell by 9,500 to 373,000. HtlShilla and Hanmi Science recorded declines of 1,100 and 5,400, respectively, closing at 45,800 and 45,300. SamsungElecMech also decreased by 5,400, with a closing price of 143,300.

Hanssem and F and F saw their prices drop by 1,800 and 2,800, respectively, closing at 45,100 and 67,100. HDKSOE experienced a significant decline of 16,000, ending at 343,000. HANWHA SOLUTIONS fell by 800 to 29,900, while KBFinancialGroup's shares decreased by 4,900, closing at 106,000.

Youngone Corp and CSWIND reported decreases of 3,200 and 1,200, respectively, with closing prices of 57,300 and 44,900. GKL and KOLON IND recorded declines of 410 and 2,100, closing at 15,120 and 39,150, respectively. HanmiPharm's shares fell by 9,500, ending at 270,000.

SD Biosensor, Meritz Financial, and BNK Financial Group closed with decreases of 200, 4,200, and 780, settling at 9,820, 111,600, and 13,810, respectively. iM Financial Group and emart ended with declines of 420 and 2,200, with closing prices of 13,450 and 87,100.

DENTIUM and HANKOOK TIRE and TECHNOLOGY reported decreases of 2,500 and 1,550, closing at 62,000 and 42,900, respectively. KOLMAR KOREA and HANJINKAL experienced declines of 4,500 and 3,100, settling at 93,000 and 106,100.

CHONGKUNDANG and DoubleUGames saw their prices fall by 2,600 and 1,400, closing at 82,000 and 54,600, respectively. HL MANDO and SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS recorded declines of 1,000 and 33,000, ending at 33,800 and 1,034,000.

Doosan Bobcat and Netmarble experienced decreases of 2,300 and 1,400, closing at 53,100 and 58,200, respectively. KRAFTON's price fell by 13,000, settling at 315,500. HD Hyundai and HD Hyundai Electric reported declines of 14,300 and 17,000, closing at 128,300 and 484,000, respectively. MIWON SC and ORION ended with decreases of 4,400 and 1,800, closing at 142,800 and 109,500, respectively.
