Seoul: The KOSPI 200 stocks on the main Korea Stock Exchange showed a mix of gains and losses by the close of trading on Monday. Notable movements include HITEJINRO closing at 19,180 KRW, marking an increase of 90 KRW, while Yuhan rose by 2,700 KRW to 121,700 KRW. In contrast, SLCORP and CJ LOGISTICS experienced declines, with their prices dropping by 400 KRW each.

According to Yonhap News Agency, POSCO Holdings saw a significant rise, closing at 279,500 KRW, up by 3,000 KRW. Samsung SDI CO., LTD. and KPIC also ended the day on a positive note, with their prices increasing by 400 KRW and 1,100 KRW respectively. Insurance sector stocks also saw gains, with DB INSURANCE up by 500 KRW to 139,100 KRW.

The trading session also witnessed declines in certain stocks. LS fell by 1,500 KRW to close at 177,400 KRW, while HD HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES dropped 2,000 KRW, ending the day at 511,000 KRW. DongwonInd and Hyundai M and F INS recorded declines of 900 KRW and 200 KRW, settling at 44,100 KRW and 27,650 KRW respectively.

Among other moves, GC Corp rose impressively by 2,800 KRW, closing at 133,800 KRW, while HYBE saw an increase of 1,500 KRW, finishing at 292,000 KRW. LG Energy Solution and kakaopay also posted gains, with their prices reaching 343,500 KRW and 51,600 KRW, respectively. However, HYOSUNG HEAVY faced a substantial drop of 28,000 KRW, closing at 1,204,000 KRW, reflecting a significant loss.

The report concludes with stocks like Doosan Robotics and AMOREPACIFIC ending the day with increases of 200 KRW and 1,000 KRW, demonstrating varied performances across the board.
