Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index demonstrated mixed results in its latest trading session, with several key stocks experiencing notable fluctuations in their closing prices. Among the top performers, Samsung Life emerged with a gain of 3,600, closing at 163,900. Shinsegae and NCsoft also saw significant increases, closing up by 1,500 at 251,000 and 199,900, respectively.
According to Yonhap News Agency, on the downside, SK witnessed a substantial decline of 2,500, closing at 248,500. POSCO Holdings and Celltrion also reported declines, down by 1,000 and 1,800, respectively. LG Electronics and KDHC saw decreases of 1,200 and 2,200, respectively.
Among other notable movements, LotteChilsung gained 2,100 to close at 135,300, while KEPCO fell by 700 to 48,350. KAL and CJ CheilJedang both saw declines, closing down by 300 and 500, respectively. In contrast, Kakao and KT and G experienced gains, closing up by 300 and 700, respectively.
The report further highlighted that stocks such as Hyundai Elevator and LG Uplus showed positive trends, with increases of 400 and 130, respectively, while stocks like Daewoong Pharm and Paradise experienced downward shifts, closing down by 900 and 580, respectively.
