Seoul: The latest closing prices for the KOSPI 200 stocks have revealed a mixture of gains and declines, reflecting varied investor sentiment on the Korea Stock Exchange. COWAY saw a rise in its stock price, closing at 101,300 KRW, marking an increase of 1,300 KRW. Similarly, POSCO DX's shares climbed to 21,850 KRW, up by 100 KRW. LOTTE SHOPPING also experienced an uptick, with its price rising by 400 KRW to close at 65,100 KRW.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several other stocks followed this upward trend, including SAMSUNG C and T, which saw a significant rise of 3,300 KRW, closing at 171,300 KRW, and LG Uplus, which increased by 490 KRW to finish at 14,390 KRW. Other notable gainers were Doosan Enerbility, which rose by 2,000 KRW to 62,400 KRW, and SK hynix, whose shares increased by 2,000 KRW to 262,500 KRW.
Conversely, some stocks experienced declines. DONGSUH's price fell by 250 KRW, ending at 27,100 KRW. SamsungE and A saw a decrease of 200 KRW, closing at 28,650 KRW. SAMSUNG CARD's shares dropped by 600 KRW to 50,700 KRW. Additionally, LOTTE WELLFOOD experienced a fall of 900 KRW, closing at 114,000 KRW, while SAMSUNG LIFE's stock decreased by 2,700 KRW to end at 149,000 KRW.
Further declines were seen in NAVER, which fell by 4,000 KRW to 221,000 KRW, and SK, whose shares decreased by 1,000 KRW, closing at 203,000 KRW. HD Hyundai Infracore also saw a slight decline, closing at 14,060 KRW, down by 40 KRW.
