KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Performance with Significant Gains for Hyundai Glovis

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a varied performance as trading came to a close, with several notable fluctuations among major companies. Hyundai Glovis emerged as a standout performer, ending the day with a remarkable increase of 14,700, bringing its final price to 213,500.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other significant gainers included KIH with an increase of 8,200 to 191,500, and GS, which saw a rise of 7,200, closing at 121,800. Sanil Electric and KB Financial Group also experienced upward movements, closing at 169,300 with a gain of 4,200 and 166,400 with a rise of 3,300, respectively.

The report highlighted some declines as well, with LGCHEM experiencing a drop of 10,000, falling to 263,000, and Celltrion decreasing by 4,400 to close at 189,600. DAEWOONG PHARM also faced a decline, dropping 2,400 to finish at 122,200.

On the positive side, KT and G saw a substantial increase, ending at 175,400 with a gain of 2,200, while Hanwha Engine rose by 2,550 to close at 47,450. KEPCO KPS also posted a gain, rising by 2,100 to 46,250.

Meanwhile, other companies such as Samsung Life and Hyundai Rotem experienced declines, with Samsung Life decreasing by 500 to 285,000 and Hyundai Rotem dropping by 600 to 133,600. The mixed performance across various sectors reflects the fluctuating market conditions influencing the KOSPI 200 index.
