KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Performance with Major Stocks Declining

Seoul:KOSPI 200: The latest closing prices for KOSPI 200 stocks show a mixed performance among major companies.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Korea Zinc's shares increased by 6,000 to close at 1,116,000, while SK's stock rose by 23,000 to reach 611,000. S-Oil also saw an increase, closing up 1,300 at 155,600.

However, several major stocks experienced declines. LG Innotek dropped by 7,000 to 535,000, and Hyundai WIA decreased by 900, ending at 52,500. Samsung Heavy Industries' shares fell by 350 to 20,250, and HMM declined by 400 to 20,800.

Other notable decreases include Hanwha MandS, which fell by 150 to 6,400, and POSCO DX, down by 310 to 19,990. KEPCO saw a decline of 600, closing at 30,250, and Hyundai Elevator decreased by 400 to 73,700.

Among the tech sector, Samsung SDS and NAVER experienced declines, closing at 220,500 and 194,700, respectively. Meanwhile, Samsung Life noted an increase of 3,500, reaching 294,500, and IBK closed up 400 at 20,400.

The report highlights a varied performance across the board, with some stocks like Coway and Samsung C&T remaining unchanged at 99,800 and 367,000, respectively.
