KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Performance as HD Hyundai Mipo and LG Innotek Surge

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a range of movements with several companies experiencing notable fluctuations in their stock prices by the close of the trading session. Among the highlights, HD Hyundai Mipo and LG Innotek recorded significant gains, while Korea Zinc and LS Electric saw substantial declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, HD Hyundai Mipo led the gains with an increase of 22,000, closing at 224,000. LG Innotek followed with a rise of 7,500, ending at 222,500. Other companies that experienced upward trends include SamsungHvyInd, which increased by 1,100 to reach 23,700, Hanwha Solutions up by 450 closing at 29,800, and KEPCO which rose by 1,650 to settle at 43,850.

Conversely, several companies faced declines. Korea Zinc's stock fell by 17,000, closing at 1,207,000, while LS Electric decreased by 8,500, ending at 311,000. Other notable decliners included OTOKI, which dropped by 2,500 to 390,000, and SamsungSecu, which fell by 2,100, closing at 76,900.

The session also saw mixed performances from other firms, such as LGCHEM, which decreased by 1,500 to 346,000, and Celltrion, which rose by 1,600 to 178,700. The varied outcomes of the trading session reflect the dynamic nature of the KOSPI 200 index, as companies continue to navigate market conditions.
