Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index exhibited a mixed performance, with several companies experiencing gains while others saw declines. Notable among the gainers were L and F, which closed at 185,600, marking an increase of 16,100, and Sanil Electric, which rose by 9,100 to reach 198,100.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Krafton also recorded an upward movement, closing at 263,500, an increase of 7,000. HD Hyundai and HD Hyundai Electric both saw gains, closing at 259,500 and 1,087,000, respectively. Other companies that experienced positive movements include APR, which rose by 5,000 to 419,500, and SK ie technology, which increased by 550 to 24,200.
In contrast, several companies faced declines. Orion and Hanwha Systems experienced decreases, with Orion falling by 800 to 136,900 and Hanwha Systems dropping by 2,300 to 129,500. BGF Retail saw a decrease of 3,900, closing at 133,500, while Hyosung TNC fell significantly by 12,500 to reach 487,500.
The market also reported declines for HyundaiAutoever, which fell by 5,000 to 432,000, and LG CNS, which decreased by 800 to 66,300. KakaoBank and DL E and C also experienced drops, closing at 25,350 and 97,700, respectively. Meanwhile, SKSQUARE saw a significant decline of 8,000, ending at 682,000, and HYBE fell by 5,500 to 262,500.
Despite the varied performances, certain companies remained stable. KIH closed unchanged at 257,000, while KBFinancialGroup also maintained its position, closing at 162,300.
