Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mixed performance with varied movements in stock prices. HMM saw a decline, closing at 21,000, down by 100. In contrast, Hyundai WIA experienced an increase, closing at 84,000, up by 800. KumhoPetrochem witnessed a decrease, closing at 136,800, down by 800. Mobis also saw a significant decline, closing at 420,000, down by 7,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanwha Aerospace reported an increase in its stock price, closing at 1,425,000, up by 2,000. However, Samsung Epis Holding observed a substantial decrease, closing at 579,000, down by 12,000. S-1 experienced a decline, closing at 91,500, down by 700. Hanchem and DWS also saw reductions, closing at 287,000 and 25,700, down by 1,000 and 200, respectively.
KEPCO managed a slight increase, closing at 46,100, up by 200. Conversely, Samsung Secu and SK Telecom watched their prices decline, closing at 109,200 and 96,500, down by 800 and 1,800, respectively. Hyundai Elevator saw a positive movement, closing at 102,200, up by 400. Hankuk Carbon and Samsung SDS experienced declines, closing at 50,700 and 179,800, down by 1,400 and 2,700, respectively.
Kumho Tire saw a minor decline, closing at 5,970, down by 50. Korea Aerospace experienced a decrease, closing at 186,800, down by 1,600. Hanon Systems also saw a decrease, closing at 4,095, down by 65. In contrast, SK observed an increase, closing at 377,000, up by 8,500. Coway and Lotte Shopping saw declines, closing at 83,100 and 120,300, down by 200 and 1,000, respectively.
Posco DX remained unchanged at 33,250. Naver and Kakao both experienced declines, closing at 213,500 and 48,850, down by 3,000 and 1,150, respectively. Pan Ocean saw a positive movement, closing at 5,680, up by 210. KT and G experienced a slight increase, closing at 171,500, up by 200, while LG Display saw a minor increase, closing at 14,470, up by 60.
Doosan Enerbility and NC reported increases, closing at 111,000 and 267,500, up by 2,500 and 5,000, respectively. Paradise and Dongsuh experienced declines, closing at 15,460 and 27,300, down by 250 and 400, respectively. Samsung Card remained steady at 54,400, while Cheil Worldwide experienced a slight increase, closing at 19,870, up by 20. Lotte Wellfood also saw a positive movement, closing at 116,500, up by 300. KT and Samsung E and A saw declines, closing at 62,800 and 49,300, down by 1,100 and 250, respectively. LG Uplus also experienced a decline, closing at 17,410, down by 190.
