Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced significant movements in its closing prices, with several prominent companies witnessing notable declines. LGELECTRONICS closed at 93,000, marking a decrease of 3,300. Similarly, LG H and H recorded a drop of 3,500, closing at 262,500. LGCHEM registered one of the largest declines, falling by 31,000 to 333,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies such as Hanwha Ocean and HD Hyundai Infracore also saw decreases, with their prices falling by 4,800 and 1,020, respectively. KEPCO E and C ended the day at 89,200, down by 2,900, while HANMISemi's stock decreased by 3,500 to 116,400.

The index also noted declines in companies like Misto Holdings and Hanwha Engine, which dropped by 1,100 and 1,750, respectively. AMOREPACIFIC fell by 2,500, closing at 119,300. In contrast, KIWOOM and HYOSUNG TNC saw increases, rising by 2,500 and 2,000, respectively.

SK Innovation experienced a decline of 5,700, closing at 104,800, while HD Hyundai Electric saw a significant drop of 32,000, ending at 790,000. GKL and ORION were among the few to witness gains, with increases of 190 and 1,300, respectively.

Overall, the KOSPI 200's latest trading session was marked by widespread declines, with only a handful of companies achieving upward movements in their stock prices.
