KOSPI 200 Sees Decline with Few Gains Among Listed Companies

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index saw a decline in the closing prices of the majority of its listed companies, reflecting a downward trend in the market. Notable among the decliners were SK Innovation and Hyundai Autoever, with SK Innovation closing at 115,400, down by 6,300, while Hyundai Autoever saw a significant increase, closing at 765,000, up by 127,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Youngone Corp experienced a decline, closing at 81,500, decreasing by 1,300. CSWIND also saw its prices drop to 49,900, marking a decrease of 1,500. In the financial sector, BNK Financial Group and KB Financial Group ended the day at 17,140 and 153,800 respectively, both experiencing declines.

Meritz Financial and emart also faced downturns, with Meritz Financial closing at 104,700, down by 1,800, and emart at 88,100, down by 4,600. GKL and BGF Retail ended lower at 10,890 and 126,400 respectively. KRAFTON and HL MANDO also saw their shares decrease, closing at 255,000 and 62,100.

The chemicals sector showed declines as well, with SKCHEM and Netmarble closing lower at 43,800 and 41,250. SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS saw a decrease, ending at 1,384,000, while HD HYUNDAI closed at 285,500, down by 4,000. CHONGKUNDANG and HANJINKAL closed lower at 78,800 and 112,400.

DoubleUGames and Doosan Bobcat were among the few gainers, closing at 67,900 and 68,100 respectively. Meanwhile, HD HYUNDAI ELECTRIC and COSMAX experienced substantial declines, closing at 1,094,000 and 176,200.

HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED and HYOSUNG TNC also saw significant decreases, ending at 216,500 and 382,000. ORION, HANILCMT, and APR closed lower at 133,300, 14,680, and 385,000. HANWHA SYSTEMS and kakaopay saw declines, closing at 109,600 and 46,750.

ISUSPECIALTYCHEMICAL and KakaoBank ended the day lower at 95,600 and 21,850. SK ie technology and DL E and C closed at 19,190 and 78,400. HYBE and Doosan Robotics both saw decreases, closing at 233,000 and 103,000.

HDHMS and ECOPRO MAT also experienced declines, closing at 241,000 and 64,100. SKSQUARE, however, saw a notable gain, ending the day at 1,276,000.
