Seoul: Investors observed notable movements in the KOSPI 200 as various companies experienced fluctuations in their stock prices. The latest closing prices revealed a blend of gains and losses across sectors.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies in the KOSPI 200 index saw price increases. SAMSUNG C and T rose by 200 to 175,200, while Kakao experienced an increase of 700 to reach 59,200. LOTTE Fine Chem also saw a rise of 700, closing at 45,350. Additionally, Hyundai Steel and Shinsegae both increased by 650 and 700, respectively, closing at 35,450 and 170,600. KIWOOM recorded a significant gain of 6,000, closing at 212,500.

On the other hand, the market noted declines in other stocks. NAVER dropped by 1,000 to 228,000, while NCsoft fell by 200, closing at 197,800. Doosan Enerbility decreased by 900, ending at 60,900. Nongshim experienced a substantial drop of 11,000, closing at 413,000. Hanwha Ocean also saw a decrease of 1,600, ending at 110,900.

The fluctuations in the KOSPI 200 reflect the varying performance across different sectors, impacting investor sentiments and trading activities.
