Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a day of mixed trading, with several companies seeing gains while others faced declines. Among the top performers were Hanon Systems and NCsoft, both recording notable increases. Hanon Systems closed at 3,565, up by 65 points, and NCsoft saw a significant rise, closing at 147,700, up by 5,900 points.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies that posted gains included COWAY, which closed at 79,000, up by 400 points, and LOTTE SHOPPING, which saw an increase of 1,200 points, closing at 67,400. DONGSUH also experienced a rise, closing at 26,850, up by 1,400 points, while SAMSUNG C and T ended the day at 118,100, up by 500 points.

On the downside, SK ended the day at 129,700, down by 1,500 points, and POSCO DX fell by 550 points to close at 24,850. SamsungE and A also saw a decrease, closing at 19,140, down by 550 points. Other companies experiencing declines included LG Display, which closed at 8,410, down by 70 points, and NAVER, which dropped 1,400 points to close at 191,500.

LOTTE WELLFOOD was among the companies posting gains, closing at 119,200, up by 1,700 points. Meanwhile, KT faced a decline, closing at 49,150, down by 550 points, and LG Uplus ended the day at 11,540, down by 160 points. POSCO INTERNATIONAL experienced a significant drop, closing at 49,200, down by 2,900 points.

Overall, the day saw a range of movements across different sectors, with some companies showing resilience and growth, while others faced challenges in the market.
