Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mix of gains and losses among its listed companies in the latest trading session.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Meritz Financial saw an increase, closing at 129,900, up by 1,100. BNK Financial Group and iM Financial Group also reported gains, closing at 16,010 and 18,820, respectively. In contrast, emart experienced a decline, ending at 71,800, down by 100.
Several companies posted notable performances. KOLMAR KOREA surged to 138,900 with an increase of 2,300, while HANJINKAL rose to 134,500, up by 2,200. Samsung Biologics, however, saw a significant decline, closing at 1,310,000, down by 44,000.
Other key movements included HD Hyundai Electric's rise to 683,000, up by 5,000, and Hyundai Autoever's climb to 388,000, increasing by 5,500. HD Hyundai, on the other hand, fell to 195,300, down by 5,700.
The trading session highlighted varied performances across different sectors, reflecting the diverse economic factors impacting the stock prices.
