According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies marked gains, including Woori Financial Group, which rose by 300 to close at 28,500, and KIH, which increased by 100, closing at 161,200. Hyundai Department Store experienced a notable rise of 800, bringing its closing price to 91,200. Otoki and Hanmi Pharm also saw increases of 1,000 and 500 respectively, closing at 389,000 and 440,500.
Conversely, Daewoong Pharm and L and F faced significant declines, with Daewoong Pharm decreasing by 1,200 to 177,400, and L and F dropping by 1,400 to 105,200. Doosan Robotics experienced a substantial fall of 4,100, closing at 78,700.
Other notable changes included Hyundai Steel's increase by 900 to close at 31,650, and Shinsegae's rise of 3,000, closing at 254,000. Nongshim's stock showed a remarkable increase of 11,000, reaching 444,500. Meanwhile, companies like Kia Corp. and KB Financial Group ended the day with gains, closing at 121,000 and 126,100 respectively.
Several companies experienced declines, such as Hyundai Motor's affiliate, Hyundai Steel, which saw a drop by 800 to close at 147,900, and Foosung, which fell by 110 to 7,720. Kolon Industries and Emart also faced decreases, closing at 46,150 and 85,200 respectively.
In the financial sector, Meritz Financial's stock dropped by 200, ending at 109,300, while BNK Financial Group experienced a slight increase of 60, closing at 16,200. iM Financial Group marked an increase, closing at 15,760, up by 150.
