KOSPI 200 Closing Prices Reflect Mixed Market Trends

Seoul: Wednesday's closing prices of KOSPI 200 stocks on the main Korea Stock Exchange showed mixed trends with notable movements in several key stocks.

According to Yonhap News Agency, BGF Retail closed at 109,800 KRW, marking an increase of 200 KRW. HYOSUNG TNC saw a significant rise, closing at 220,500 KRW, up by 4,500 KRW. In contrast, SK ie technology experienced a slight decline, closing at 27,500 KRW, down by 50 KRW.

Among other significant movements, Woori Financial Group rose by 1,050 KRW, closing at 25,750 KRW, while KakaoBank increased by 700 KRW, ending at 24,650 KRW. Meanwhile, APR saw a decrease of 2,500 KRW, closing at 227,500 KRW. The KCC stock demonstrated an upward trend, rising by 5,000 KRW to close at 418,000 KRW.

HD Hyundai Electric experienced a substantial increase, closing at 560,000 KRW, up by 44,000 KRW. Conversely, LG Energy Solution saw a decline of 6,500 KRW, closing at 340,500 KRW. HYOSUNG HEAVY marked a significant rise, ending at 1,393,000 KRW, up by 141,000 KRW.

Hanwha Systems and HYBE also showed positive trends, with increases of 1,900 KRW and 1,500 KRW, closing at 53,600 KRW and 291,500 KRW, respectively. On the other hand, SKCHEM decreased by 1,800 KRW, ending at 60,300 KRW, while Netmarble fell by 500 KRW to close at 62,200 KRW.

Overall, the trading session highlighted varied performances across different sectors, with some companies experiencing growth while others faced declines.
