KORIBOR Rates Show Minimal Changes Across Terms

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) displayed minor fluctuations across various terms as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week and 3-month KORIBOR rates remained steady at 2.50% and 2.77% respectively. The 1-month and 2-month rates saw a slight decrease from the previous session, moving from 2.59% to 2.58% and from 2.67% to 2.66%, respectively. The 6-month rate held firm at 2.84%.

Notably, the 12-month rate saw a minor increase, rising from 3.11% to 3.12%. These rates provide a benchmark for interbank lending in South Korea and are closely monitored by financial institutions for setting interest rates on various financial products.
