Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) have remained unchanged in the latest update from Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency. The rates were posted at 11:00 a.m., showing no movement across all terms, including 1-week, 1-month, 2-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month rates.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the KORIBOR rates for the 1-week term stood at 2.50%, maintaining the same level as the previous session. The 1-month, 2-month, and 3-month terms also remained steady at 2.51%. Similarly, the 6-month rate was unchanged at 2.52%, and the 12-month rate held firm at 2.53%.
The stability in the KORIBOR rates indicates a consistent borrowing cost for financial institutions in the interbank market. The unchanged rates suggest a steady economic environment, with no immediate pressures prompting a shift in the borrowing costs among banks.
