Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) showed stability across most terms with only slight adjustments in the 3-month and 6-month rates, as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the rates for the 1-week, 1-month, 2-month, and 12-month terms remained unchanged from the previous session, standing at 2.50%, 2.53%, 2.55%, and 2.53%, respectively. The 3-month KORIBOR saw a minor decrease from 2.58% to 2.57%, while the 6-month rate slightly declined from 2.54% to 2.53%.
The KORIBOR is an essential reference for financial institutions in Korea, providing a benchmark for lending and borrowing activities in the interbank market. Despite the minor fluctuations observed, the overall stability in rates reflects steady conditions in the market.
