Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained largely stable across various short-term loan periods as observed in the latest figures posted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m. today. The financial data indicated no change in the rates for the 1-week, 1-month, 2-month, and 3-month loan periods.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the rates for the 1-week and 1-month loan terms were steady at 2.50% and 2.62%, respectively. Similarly, the 2-month and 3-month rates held firm at 2.75% and 2.88%.
The only changes were observed in the longer-term rates, with the 6-month rate experiencing a slight increase from 3.06% to 3.07%, and the 12-month rate moving up marginally from 3.56% to 3.57%. These figures suggest a minor upward trend in longer-term borrowing costs while short-term rates remain unchanged.
