Seoul: President Lee Jae Myung plans to invite all lawmakers of the ruling Democratic Party (DP) for a luncheon next week, his office said Saturday. Lee will host the lawmakers at Cheong Wa Dae in Seoul next Friday ahead of the regular parliamentary session set to begin next month, according to Kang Yu-jung, senior presidential spokesperson.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the luncheon will coincide with the party's workshop schedule, suggesting full attendance by the lawmakers. A ruling party official mentioned that the party plans to conduct a two-day workshop starting Thursday to prepare for the upcoming regular session. This event aims to bolster unity and collaboration between the government and the ruling party.

In a similar move last August, Lee invited all DP lawmakers to Cheong Wa Dae for a luncheon during their party workshop. This gesture was seen as an effort to reinforce the solidarity between the government and the ruling party.
