KORIBOR Rates Remain Stable With Minor Adjustments.

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) have shown stability with slight adjustments across different terms as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency. The rates were posted at 11:00 a.m. and indicate minor variations compared to the previous session. According to Yonhap News Agency, the KORIBOR for the 1-week term remained unchanged at 3.00%. The 1-month rate experienced a slight decline to 3.13% from the previous 3.16%. Similarly, the 2-month rate decreased to 3.21% from 3.23%. Further analysis of the rates reveals that the 3-month and 6-month terms both saw a marginal drop, with the 3-month rate moving from 3.30% to 3.28% and the 6-month rate decreasing from 3.31% to 3.28%. The 12-month rate also saw a slight reduction, adjusting from 3.11% to 3.08%. These adjustments indicate a general stability in the short-term interbank lending market, with only minor fluctuations observed in the longer-term rates. The KORIBOR rates are a crucial bench mark for financial institutions in Korea, influencing loan and deposit rates across the banking sector.
