KORIBOR Rates Remain Largely Unchanged Across Terms.

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained mostly stable in today's session, as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information sector of Yonhap News Agency. The rates, which are crucial indicators of interbank lending costs in South Korea, showed no change in most terms compared to the previous session. According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week, 1-month, and 2-month KORIBOR rates held steady at 3.25%, 3.30%, and 3.34% respectively. Similarly, the 3-month and 6-month rates remained unchanged at 3.40%. However, a slight decrease was observed in the 12-month term, which edged down from 3.25% to 3.24%. These rates are critical for financial institutions as they influence the cost of borrowing and lending money among banks. The stability in most of the terms suggests a steady monetary environment in the South Korean financial markets.
