Seoul: Korea Zinc Inc. on Tuesday reported its third-quarter net income of 152.8 billion won (US$109.2 million), reflecting a 96.5 percent increase from the previous year. According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating profit for the July-September period was recorded at 150 billion won, marking a decrease of 6.5 percent compared to the same period last year. Revenue, however, saw a significant rise, increasing by 39.8 percent to reach 3.2 trillion won.
