Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained stable for most terms in a recent update, reflecting consistent lending rates among banks. According to the latest figures posted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, the rates were recorded at 11:00 a.m.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week and 6-month rates were unchanged at 2.50% and 3.29%, respectively. The 1-month rate saw a slight decrease from 2.67% to 2.66%, while the 2-month rate also dipped marginally from 2.87% to 2.86%. The 3-month rate decreased from 3.05% to 3.04%. The 12-month rate remained unchanged at 3.73%.
These figures indicate a slight downward trend in the short-term rates, while medium to long-term rates exhibited stability. The data provides insights into the current interbank lending environment in Korea.
