Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index displayed a varied performance among its listed companies, with significant movements in both directions. Notable declines were observed in shares such as Miwon SC, which fell by 2,900 to close at 128,100, and HD Hyundai Electric, which decreased by 17,000 to finish at 543,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, several companies experienced gains despite the overall mixed results. Krafton saw an increase of 1,700, closing at 191,700, while Hanwha Systems rose by 2,800, ending the session at 80,800. Additionally, HyundaiAutoever increased by 4,000, reaching a closing price of 345,000.
Meanwhile, other noteworthy losses included Meritz Financial, which dropped by 1,600 to 131,000, and Samsung Biologics, which fell by 24,000 to settle at 1,182,000. On the positive side, Hyosung TNC and d'Alba Global posted significant gains, rising by 14,000 and 7,300, finishing at 282,000 and 164,500, respectively.
Overall, the index reflected a dynamic trading day with substantial shifts in stock values, highlighting the volatile nature of the market.
