KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Performance in Closing Prices

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed varied movements in its closing prices, with a mix of gains and losses observed among the listed companies. Among those that ended on a higher note were LG Innotek, which increased by 1,700 to 149,700, and Kakao, which rose by 6,200 to 66,600.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several other companies also saw upward trends. Notably, Hanwha Aerospace climbed by 4,000 to reach 938,000, and Samsung SDS increased by 3,600, closing at 172,000. SK also experienced a significant rise, adding 4,100 to end at 196,700. Meanwhile, LOTTE WELLFOOD went up by 1,300, resulting in a closing price of 117,100.

On the contrary, some companies experienced declines in their closing prices. Korea Aerospace dropped by 2,400 to 94,900, and Hyundai Elevator decreased by 1,100 to 85,200. Additionally, Samsung C and T saw a decline of 3,400, closing at 161,900, while Samsung Card fell by 650, ending at 48,300.

Despite the mixed performance, several companies maintained stable prices. S-Oil closed at 61,500 with no change, while HDC Holdings saw a minor decline of 50 to 22,500. Overall, the KOSPI 200 index reflected a diverse range of movements across different sectors.
