Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) have shown a slight increase across various terms as per the latest posting by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency. The rates were observed at 11:00 a.m. during the trading session.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week KORIBOR remained unchanged at 2.50%, while the 1-month and 2-month rates both saw a minor increase from 2.50% to 2.51%. The 3-month rate moved up slightly from 2.51% to 2.52%. Additionally, the 6-month rate increased from 2.55% to 2.56%, and the 12-month rate rose from 2.56% to 2.57%.
The changes in KORIBOR reflect adjustments in the lending rates among banks within the country and are closely monitored as indicators of broader economic conditions. These rates influence a wide range of financial products and services, impacting both consumers and businesses.
