Korea Interbank Offered Rates Remain Stable with Minor Change in 12-Month Rate

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) have shown stability across most terms, with a slight change noted only in the 12-month rate. The rates were made available by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the rates for the 1-week, 1-month, 2-month, and 3-month terms remain unchanged at 2.50%. Similarly, the 6-month term rate has held steady at 2.53%. The only adjustment recorded was in the 12-month term, which saw a minor increase from 2.51% in the previous session to 2.52% today.

The consistent rates suggest stability in Korea's interbank lending market, with only the 12-month rate experiencing a slight upward movement. This information is crucial for financial institutions and investors as they make lending and borrowing decisions based on these benchmark rates.
