Seoul: Hyundai Motor Group announced it has donated 35 billion won (US$23.8 million) as part of its year-end giving. The contribution was directed to the Community Chest of Korea as part of the charity group's annual "Hope 2026 Giving Campaign," the company reported.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hyundai Motor Group has been participating in the year-end fundraising drive since 2003, contributing a cumulative total of 464 billion won over the past two decades. This long-standing partnership underscores the company's commitment to charitable giving and community support.
Hyundai Motor Group also operates several outreach programs beyond financial contributions. Among these is the "Gift Car" initiative, which provides vehicles to underprivileged children's sports teams. This program is conducted in collaboration with the Community Chest of Korea, further strengthening the ties between the two organizations and enhancing support for underprivileged communities.
