Las vegas: Hyundai Mobis Co., South Korea's largest auto parts maker, announced its plans to introduce dozens of next-generation mobility solutions at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next year. The company aims to highlight advancements in electronics, electrification, and chassis safety during the event from January 6-9.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hyundai Mobis will present its technologies under the theme "Layer of Progress," featuring the updated M.VICS 7.0 cockpit system and X-by-Wire electronic control technology. The M.VICS 7.0 integrates advanced in-car information and entertainment technologies, now enhanced with a holographic windshield display (HWD) that projects driving data onto the glass and a vertically expandable 18.1-inch display.

The X-by-Wire system, designed for electronic steering and braking, eliminates traditional mechanical links, offering more precise vehicle control by integrating both functions into a single controller. Additional technologies set for display include an augmented-reality head-up display (AR-HUD), low-power display solutions, and efficient electric vehicle drive systems.

The HWD in M.VICS 7.0 recently earned the CES 2026 Innovation Award from the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). This next-generation display technology projects essential driving information on the windshield, enhancing safety and convenience by reducing the need for drivers to glance at dashboard gauges.

Hyundai Mobis is collaborating with global clients to develop the HWD technology, targeting mass production by 2029 as a key export product. Through global exhibitions like CES and roadshows in North America and Europe, the company aims to increase its overseas sales share to 40 percent by 2033, up from last year's 10 percent.
