Seoul: Hanwha Aerospace Co. has reported a staggering increase in its third-quarter net profit, soaring to 330.4 billion won (US$239.6 million), marking a 4831.3 percent rise from the same period last year. This unprecedented growth highlights the company's strong financial performance in the July-September period. According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanwha Aerospace also announced a significant boost in its operating profit, which reached 477.2 billion won, reflecting a 457.5 percent increase compared to the previous year. Additionally, the company's sales saw a notable rise of 61.9 percent, totaling 2.63 trillion won for the quarter. The impressive operating profit exceeded the average estimate by 47.7 percent, as determined by a survey conducted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data subsidiary of Yonhap News Agency. However, the estimate for net profit was not disclosed in the report.
