Seoul: The government has outlined crowd safety measures for the upcoming BTS concert in Seoul, as a large crowd is anticipated at Gwanghwamun Square, the concert venue. The interior ministry announced these plans as part of their preparations for the event.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Minister Yun Ho-jung led a meeting with safety-related public institutions to review each organization's responsibilities in implementing crowd safety measures for the BTS concert scheduled for March 21. The concert is expected to draw a significant crowd, including 22,000 domestic and international ticket holders.

The government intends to issue a "caution" level warning to prevent accidents due to overcrowding. This warning will be effective in the central Seoul wards of Jongno and Jung on the concert day. The interior ministry and police will form a situation management team, while the Seoul city government will operate a rapid response team for emergencies.

The culture ministry will offer advice on concert safety and inspect stage facilities and seating arrangements. The health ministry will establish a disaster medical assistance team dispatch system. Police will manage crowd flow and safety conditions and be prepared to respond to potential outbreaks of violence and terrorism.
