GH Bank and the Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the ‘Life Begins with GHB’ project to create housing loan products and special interest rate deposits under the Life Begins with GHB project, led by a low interest rate loan for the first year of only 1.99% per year, an average interest rate for the first 3 years of 2.99% per year, and a deposit interest rate as high as 1.85% per year, promoting the association’s more than 8,300 members to own their own homes.
Mr. Kamolpop Virapala, President of the Government Housing Bank (GHB), revealed that he has joined hands with the Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage, represented by Pharmacist Thira Chakajanarodom, President of the Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) under the ‘Life Begins with GHB’ project to support the bank’s financial products to members of the Pharmaceutical Association of Thailan
d who wish to borrow to purchase, construct, redeem from other financial institutions (refinance), extend, repair, purchase equipment or facilities related to housing in order to pay off housing debts. The interest rate for the first year is 1.99% per year, the second year is 2.99% per year, the third year is 3.99% per year, and the average interest rate for the first 3 years is 2.99% per year, and the fourth year until the end of the contract. In the case of welfare customers, it is equal to MRR-1.00% per year, in the case of retail customers, it is equal to MRR-0.50% per year, and in the case of purchasing equipment/paying off housing debt, it is equal to MRR (currently, the MRR interest rate is equal to 6.545% per year). Apply for a loan and complete the transaction by December 30, 2024.
In addition, members of the Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand are also entitled to high-yield savings with ‘GHB Welfare Savings’ with an interest rate of up to 1.85% per year for those with a remaining balance of no
more than 10 million baht. They will receive interest on the deposit on the 15th of every month and are exempt from income tax on the interest. Those interested can open a deposit account at a bank branch with a minimum of 500 baht until December 30, 2024 or until the credit limit is full.
