Seoul: Emart Inc. on Tuesday reported its fourth-quarter net loss of 596.3 billion won (US$410 million), remaining in the red compared with a year ago. The company revealed this information in a regulatory filing, highlighting ongoing financial challenges despite efforts to stabilize operations.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Emart continued to post an operating loss of 77.1 billion won for the October-December period. This figure shows a slight improvement compared to a loss of 85.5 billion won a year earlier. Despite this, the company's revenue fell 1.4 percent to 7.24 trillion won, indicating persistent hurdles in boosting sales.
