Seoul: Coway Co., a South Korean household appliances manufacturer, reported a fourth-quarter net profit of 147.2 billion won (US$100.7 million), marking a 41.4 percent increase from the previous year.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for the quarter was 181.6 billion won, a slight decrease from 183.4 billion won recorded a year earlier. However, sales saw a significant rise of 13.3 percent, reaching 1.27 trillion won.
