Lima: U.S. President Joe Biden has urged China to leverage its influence to prevent North Korea from dispatching additional troops to support Russia in its ongoing conflict in Ukraine, highlighting potential provocations by Pyongyang. This appeal was made during discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit, according to a senior U.S. official. According to Yonhap News Agency, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan provided details on the conversations, emphasizing Biden's concerns about the broader security implications of potential military cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang.
