Ateez to Release New EP ‘Golden Hour: Part. 4’ This Friday

Seoul: K-pop sensation Ateez is set to release its 13th EP, "Golden Hour: Part. 4," this Friday, marking another milestone in the band's illustrious career. The new album is the fourth installment in the "Golden Hour" series, which, according to the group's agency, KQ Entertainment, captures the brightest moments of the members' youth.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the EP consists of five tracks, including the lead single "Adrenaline," co-written by band members Hongjoong and Mingi. Other tracks include "Ghost," "NASA," "On The Road," and the previously released "Choose." During a press conference on Thursday, Mingi expressed that the group's collective energy has been their "biggest pride" and a source of sustenance over the years, emphasizing their unwavering determination to persevere and progress.

Seonghwa, another member of Ateez, highlighted the group's consistency and sincerity in their musical journey. He shared that the album preparation was approached with the same dedication and earnestness as their debut. Mingi also explained that "Adrenaline" was unanimously chosen as the main track, as it embodies a high-energy, exhilarating experience.

Yunho added that working on the album evoked feelings reminiscent of their debut, capturing the essence of their seven-year collaboration. This new release follows "Golden Hour: Part. 3," which was launched in May of the previous year. To promote the upcoming release, Ateez initiated a "USB Scavenger Hunt" campaign across eight cities, including Seoul and New York, engaging fans by hiding USBs that contain the members' voices.

The eight-member group, renowned for its dynamic performances, debuted in 2018 and quickly gained international fame with hits like "Wonderland" and "Guerrilla." In recent years, Ateez achieved significant success by topping Billboard's main albums chart, the Billboard 200, twice with "The World Ep. Fin: Will" in 2023 and "Golden Hour: Part. 2" in 2024.
