Paju: Seven people were injured Wednesday in an explosion at a military base in the northern border city of Paju, officials said. The explosion occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. at the Army base located in the city, which is situated northwest of Seoul.

According to Yonhap News Agency, military authorities are currently investigating the incident. The investigation was initiated following a report that an explosive, intended for educational purposes, detonated unexpectedly.
