Al-dhale'e: The office of the General Zakat Authority in Al-Dhale' Governorate today launched a project to support charitable kitchens and bakeries for 2,000 families in the districts of Damt and Juban, at a cost of 63 million riyals.
According to Yemen News Agency, the launch was attended by the Governorate Security Director, Brigadier Hussein Al-Hamzi, and the General Mobilization Official in the governorate, Ahmed Al-Murani. Al-Murani affirmed the importance of the project in showing kindness to the poor and needy during the holy month, and enhancing the value of social solidarity.
The Director of the Zakat Office in Al-Dhale'e, Ahmed Al-Dahyani, explained that this initiative is part of the charity projects implemented by the General Zakat Authority. Al-Dahyani also called on businessmen, merchants, and farmers to interact and cooperate with the Authority by promptly paying zakat, affirming that zakat is disbursed in its eight legitimate channels.
